The New England Patriots will likely be without their top two receiving weapons against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola both participated on a limited basis this week, they are listed as Questionable and Doubtful on the injury report and are not expected to play. The final word on that should come down on Sunday, however, as they have not been ruled out yet.
Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hopeful that Carl Nicks can make his season debut against the Patriots. Nicks was dealing with an infected foot due to MRSA, but was cleared last week and has been working on his conditioning since then. Nicks should play barring setbacks, but is officially a game time decision.
Tight end Tom Crabtree's recovering from a high ankle sprain, but has participated in every practice this week. It's not clear whether he'll play this week and he should be another game time decision.
