As the Buccaneers get ready to play the Panthers on Sunday, we here at Bucs Nation are ready to drop some predictions for Week 18.

Tampa Bay is currently a 4.5-point favorite via DraftKings Sportsbook. Our staff weighs in with their predictions for the Bucs game and picks for the rest of the NFL’s Week 18 games.

Staff Predictions

Gil Arcia: Emotions Get in the Way

The Bucs are win and in — again. Tampa Bay will head to Carolina with a boatload of confidence, along with many that think this game will be an easy ticket into the postseason. However, the defense plays overly confident and does not account for stopping the run. Remember what happened last time up in Charlotte? The defense struggles against the Panthers again as Todd Bowles’ unit gives up nearly 200 yards on the ground and three touchdowns.

James Yarcho: Record Day

In the last week of the regular season last year, Mike Evans exploded for over 200 yards and three touchdowns. This year, he heads into the final game of the regular season needing just two touchdown receptions for a new single season career high and to extend his NFL lead for touchdown receptions. He’s already gone for over 160 yards with a touchdown in their first meeting - this time he ups the ante. Evans will finish with 190 yards and the two touchdowns he needs to reach 15 on the season and a new career best.
