The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to win two of their last three games in order to win the NFC South for the third straight year. This week they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars who will be getting their starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence back after clearing concussion protocol Saturday morning prior to the team flying to Tampa.
That’s a huge boost for Jacksonville, who have lost three straight games and are in danger of falling to second place behind the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South.
However, all eyes of Bucs fans are on two players - Devin White and Antoine Winfield Jr. Plenty of drama followed Devin White following last week where he seemed to be on track to play then was a healthy scratch just before game time. Conflicting reports said that White informed head coach Todd Bowles that his foot didn’t feel well enough to go while other reports said that White was upset about his diminished role after Bowles informed him that K.J. Britt would get the start.
Meanwhile, Antoine Winfield Jr. was added to the injury report on Friday with a calf injury causing him to miss practice and be listed as questionable. Winfield, in the midst of an All-Pro caliber season, would be a massive loss for the Bucs. Fortunately for the Bucs, Winfield is good to go and will start on Sunday.
Here are the inactive players for the Bucs and Jags ahead of their Week 16 matchup;
