At 43 years old, Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady still played at a Hall of Fame level in his first season with Tampa Bay in 2020 while leading them to a Super Bowl LV victory. Previously, he won six with the New England Patriots. That was already more than any other quarterback in NFL history.
So, what’s next?
Appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Brady shared that immediately following Tampa Bay’s win over Kansas City he was asked a very tough question...
...from his wife.
“We’re looking for my family. And I was saying, ‘Where’s my family? Where’s my family?’ And all of a sudden I see my oldest son run over to me and he’s says, ‘Dad!’ I gave him a big hug. I saw my two little ones, and then I saw my wife. Just as I gave her a big hug, and just as I did it, she says, ‘What more do you have to prove?’
“I just gave her a big hug. I was trying to figure out a way to change the subject really quick. I think I moved onto something else pretty quickly.”
With seven Super Bowl rings, perhaps he’s trying to fill up both hands with rings on each finger.
That would be one heck of a feat to prove.
