Some may say that no news is good news. But sometimes in the NFL world, no news could also mean several things — like a player mulling over options. In the case of wide receiver Antonio Brown, who is in the Bucs plans for keeping the band together, the silence in NFL circles surrounding him could mean there are some negotiations going on.
And not just with the Buccaneers.
According to ESPN’s John Clayton via 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson appears to be attempting to get Brown to join him in the northwest.

Brown isn’t the only Buccaneers free agent the Seahawks are looking into. Running back Leonard Fournette was reportedly weighing options from Tampa Bay and Seattle. However, the Buccaneers are reported to have had active conversations with both.
Now that wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is staying in Pittsburgh on a one-year deal worth $8 million, perhaps we’ll see more movement across the league with wide receivers. This could result in Brown’s name getting thrown around some more.
