The Tampa Bay Buccaneers trailed 3-0 in the first quarter. But that was until quarterback Tom Brady orchestrated a nice scoring drive which ended in a touchdown.
Brady’s pass to tight end Rob Gronkowski near the end of the first quarter broke an NFL record previously held by the quarterback-receiver tandem of Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. Brady and Gonkowski now hold the record for the most touchdown connections made between the two in the post season with 13 times in their careers.
Tampa Bay currently leads the Kansas City Chiefs heading into the second quarter of Super Bowl LV.
