Poetic first words, Gatorade colors, and more options for outside fan bases to get involved with Super Bowl LV

Prop bets for all who want a little more action this Sunday

NFL: Super Bowl LIV-San Francisco 49ers vs Kansas City Chiefs Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

If you’re not a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Kansas City Chiefs how do you fully buy-in to what’s happening on the field during Super Bowl LV?

Some people pick a favorite player or coach from one of the teams and root for them to win a championship. Others just want to see their rival go down in flames on the biggest sports stage of the year. There’s a small portion of fans who actually cheer on the team that beat their own favorite team in a ‘lost to the champions’ kind of motivation.

Whatever your rooting interest, there’s another way fans have found interest in big sporting events over the years, and this year will be no different other than there might even more action which will be taking place due to the largely virtual experience most fans will be experiencing.

Of course, we’re talking prop bets.

And there are so many options. I myself usually put small amounts on these sorts of things, but bets like the first scoring play of the game, who wins the coin toss, what color Gatorade gets dumped on the winning coach, and more, are all spices added to the main course that makes it all just a little bit more enjoyable.

A classic prop bet type game is Super Bowl Squares and is one of my personal favorites.

Even if you are a fan of one of the teams competing, you can still find team specific prop bets to add more excitement to the game as well.

If you think the Buccaneers will score on their first offensive play you’ll find -2000 odds on that, but get a payout of +6500 dollars if you’re correct.

The Chiefs figure to have their first score of the game come by way of a touchdown pass (-220) compared to Tom Brady and the Bucs (-185) who have proven to possess many different ways to score points.

Of course, if you’re a real prop bet enthusiast you can even find printable prop sheets to help you keep track of it all.

No matter what, the game is going to be a fun one with each side hoping their team gets to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at the end of it all.

So, as we wish good luck to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs in the big game, we also wish the same luck to those of you safely and responsibly adding a little something extra to the stakes of the game this Sunday night.
