Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers shocked most of the NFL world with a dominant win over Kansas City in Super Bowl LV. After the game, a majority of fans are quick to credit Brady for his accomplishments, even if they weren’t the most impressive of the night.

According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts, following his seventh Super Bowl championship, nearly two-thirds of fans believe Brady is the greatest player in NFL history.

While the final score made the game look like a blowout, there was a stretch where it felt like Kansas City could get back into the game. But after numerous penalties hurt the Chiefs, things changed quickly.

But most fans believe those flags were earned, or if nothing else, didn’t change the outcome. 64 percent of fans said the Buccaneers win didn’t come as a result of the refs.

Tampa Bay’s defense dominated the Chiefs offense. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was scrambling for his life for most of the game and it was evident throughout the evening what Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles prepared his unit for which turned out to be the biggest factor in the Super Bowl.

Nearly a full 100 percent of fans believe the Buccaneers’ defense was even more impressive than their offense.

Many wanted to give the MVP award to someone on the Tampa Bay defense — like linebacker Devin White or edge rusher Shaquil Barret. But despite many siding with the defense, a slight majority of fans still believe Brady deserved his MVP award.
