On Tuesday, the Buccaneers announced the names of 11 players that were signed to future contracts.

OLB Quinton Bell
WR Cyril Grayson
DB Javon Hagan
WR Travis Jonsen
G Nick Leverett
TE Codey McElroy
DB Herb Miller
G John Molchon
WR Josh Pearson
DL Benning Potoa’e
DT Kobe Smith

Teams across the NFL sign players to future contracts every offseason. These contracts act as normal contract players on the active roster sign except they don’t count against the cap only when the new league year starts. This is essentially the start of the Buccaneers getting to the offseason expanded roster.

Most notable names on the list are Bell, Miller, Potoa’e and Grayson who saw some kind of action during the 2020 regular season.
