The Buccaneers escaped New England with a win and Trey Downey and Len Martez were back to discuss it with you on this week’s edition of Downey and Martez. The guys began the show by discussing if they thought the moment got to Tom Brady a little bit this past weekend. The guys then pivoted to the rest of the game and Len highlighted one player that impressed him on the offensive side of the ball. It was then time to talk defense, Richard Sherman’s performance, and Carlton Davis’ injury. That led the conversation into the Bucs losing out on Stephon Gilmore to a division rival.

Trey and Len then looked forward to this Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. The guys discussed why Miami might just have the most incompetent pair of coordinators in the NFL. The guys wrapped the show as usual by taking a swing around the rest of the league. Trey brought up how hard it was to peg just who the best team in the league is a quarter of the way into the season. The gents also discussed a pair of compelling match-ups that could be a preview of AFC divisional playoff weekend.
