The NFC Championship is turning out to be what the fans have wanted so far, and that is a very entertaining game between two good teams.

The Buccaneers got things going on their opening drive with big first down throws by Tom Brady to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin which came on third downs for clutch conversions. They ended the drive with a touchdown pass to Evans.

Green Bay would respond a bit later with a touchdown of their own when quarterback Aaron Rodgers hit Marquez Valdes-Scantling down the sideline for a 50-yard catch and run for a touchdown to tie things up.

Tampa Bay would answer back on their ensuing drive when Leonard Fournette took the hand off from Brady for a 20-yard touchdown run, breaking three tackles along the way. The drive was kept alive on a deep pass from Brady to Godwin down field on a third down play. Bucs led 14-7.

The Packers would later add a field goal to make it 14-10 in favor of Tampa Bay. As the half was winding down, Sean Murphy-Bunting intercepted Rodgers with under :30 seconds to play in the first half, and the Bucs capitalized on it after converting on a fourth down to then dialing up a deep pass when Brady hit Scotty Miller on a 39-yard bomb for a touchdown to end the half.

Buccaneers lead 21-10 as both teams head into their respective locker rooms.
