We know the status of wide receiver Chris Godwin from a report earlier Wednesday. But’s it’s not just him that was on the sideline of the Buccaneers practice fields.
Tampa Bay had a few players that did not participate during the team’s initial practice heading into Week 4, including running back Leonard Fournette and wide receiver Scotty Miller.

With Miller hurting and Godwin missing game time, wide receiver Mike Evans addressed the situation when asked specifically about the absence of Godwin.
“They have no choice but to step up,” said the veteran receiver. “Obviously, missing Chris – one of the best receivers in the league – having him down is definitely going to hurt. But, guys have to step up. There’s a lot of injuries in this league right now, so guys are just going to have to step up. We’re paid professionals and that’s our job to do that.”
