There you have it. The Buccaneers add yet another weapon to the offense, agreeing to terms on a one year deal with former LSU Tiger, Jacksonville Jaguar, and top five NFL Draft pick Leonard Fournette;
It’s an agreement in principle on a one-year deal between Leonard Fournette and the Buccaneers, per source. https://t.co/c8zfr1VFFv

Fournette has already taken to Twitter to express his excitement;

Of course, Fournette may not realize that the number in his photoshopped image belongs to his new teammate and fellow running back Ronald Jones.
Fournette will be a solid complementary back to RoJo - who will still be expected to be the number one guy - as the change of pace/short yardage back. Ed Werder shared on Twitter that no running back in the NFL has a higher percentage of scrimmage touchdowns five yards or fewer than Fournette since he entered the league in 2017.
Fournette has two 1,000 yard seasons in three years under his belt and is yet another major weapon for the Bucs’ offense.
Ian Rapoport has the details on the contract;
#Bucs are giving RB Leonard Fournette a 1-year deal worth a max value of $3.5M, source said. He gets a $2M base salary and incentives are based on rush yards & play-time. Plus, with no off-sets from his #Jaguars deal, Fournette can double dip if he wins his grievance & add $4.2M.
