The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today changed wide receiver Chris Godwin’s status for Sunday from Doubtful to Out. In addition, the team signed cornerback Mazzi Wilkins from the practice squad to the active roster, while wide receiver Cyril Grayson and tight end Tanner Hudson have been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game vs. Carolina.
Godwin had been in the concussion protocol this week after last week’s game against the Saints in New Orleans.
Wilkins (6-0, 191), entered the league as a college free agent with Tampa Bay during the 2019 offseason and has been with the team ever since, splitting time between the practice squad and the active roster. In 2019, he appeared in five games with the Buccaneers, recording three tackles. The University of South Florida product is a native of Tampa, and wears No. 37 for the Buccaneers.
