Week 1 Second Half Open Thread: Buccaneers at Saints

The Bucs offense has sputtered, and sputtered often.

The highly anticipated debut for Tom Brady in a Buccaneers uniform started great. But then it quickly went downhill.

Miscues and an interception have been the story so far for Tampa Bay after 30 minutes of football in New Orleans. Brady ran in a touchdown on a quarterback sneak on their first drive, but also threw an interception in the second quarter after he and Mike Evans were not on the same page on a play.

Oh, and there was also a blocked Ryan Succop field goal attempt.

For the Saints, running back Alvin Kamara has scored two touchdowns while Drew Brees and their offense has controlled the game despite the time of possession being nearly the same.

It’ll be interesting to see how Tampa Bay comes out in the second half as they trail 17-7.
