As expected, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have exercised the opportunity to move two players from the practice squad to their active roster ahead of their Week 1 game against the New Orleans Saints.
In doing so, wide receiver Cyril Grayson and cornerback Mazzi Wilkins will be available for the Bucs this Sunday in New Orleans.
Wilkins played in five games last year totaling three tackles in 2019.
Grayson has also spent time with the Saints franchise, but only has active service with Tampa Bay appearing in two games in 2019 bringing in one catch for three yards.
Entering the weekend, the Buccaneers still have star receiver Mike Evans questionable for opening game action. No surprise either the team would activate an extra cornerback given the youth and lack of depth at the position.
As with most depth players, Bucs fans will hope to see little of either as the star-studded roster takes the field for the first time in the 2020 NFL Season.
