By now, we have seen and heard several react to the Buccaneers decision to sign quarterback Tom Brady during the offseason — including Saints’ defensive end Cameron Jordan’s words just this week.

The latest comes from another NFC South opponent in Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan.

Speaking to Adam Schein on Mad Dog Sports Radio, Ryan shared what his reaction was when hearing the news while also giving the Bucs credit for bringing in the veteran signal caller.

“I was like, ‘You got to be kidding me. The Bucs? C’mon man’,” Ryand said to Schein. “When I heard he wasn’t going back to New England, in my head I’m thinking man, I feel like it’s going to be the Bucs. They might be a good fit. I think they’re moving on from Jameis and have an opening. They have a really good defense, good wide receivers. And sure enough, my gut was right and he ended up down there. It’s going to be a tough division that’s for sure. But it’ll be fun. Playing against the best is always fun and it’s a great measuring stick for where we’re at.”
