The off-season is a time for writers and podcasters alike to dig deep into the box of creativity to keep content fresh without crossing the line between thoughtful content and gap filling click-bait.
As a part of Bucs Nation, I can proudly proclaim that I’ve never been pushed into the theory of creating for the sake of creating. And this is a time where we get to have fun and dream a bit about what could be ahead in the coming months.
One of those off-season traditions is predictions about what the next season might produce. Could the team we cover and the team you all cheer for so diligently bring home a Lombardi? Are there future All-Pros on this year’s roster? What about the future for recent NFL Draft picks? We get to speculate and find whatever measure of evidence we can live with for the time being to try and predict something purely unpredictable. And it’s fun. Not as fun as covering actual games, but we do what we can with the times we’re in.
Which brings us to today, and a request by one loyal Locked On Bucs Podcast listener who presented an idea to establish some over/under projections for the 2020 offense, led now by future Hall of Fame quarterback, Tom Brady.
So James Yarcho and I set out to establish those lines, and discussed whether or not we thought the player in question would fall short or surpass said line. And now we want your input. Shout out to Jim from South Carolina for the show idea. Now let’s have some predictive fun.
