As you all know by now, the Buccaneers turned back the clock and ditched their alarm clock jerseys. In now is what they wore during the Super Bowl era, with a new all pewter color rush set. While it wasn’t a complete transition to a “new”, it is a welcomed sight for many.

But like how the look now is considered the “Super Bowl Era” look, the previous look now has a name.
Sporting News recently ranked NFL uniforms heading into the 2020 season. Tampa Bay was consistently near the bottom for many outlets but not anymore. In fact, the media outlet not only ranked them at No. 11, but has tied those uniforms to the Jameis Winston days — and moving forward with the “Tom Brady era look.”
11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Though we appreciated the bold changes, the Bucs went a little too far with their previous uniform set — we’ll call them the Jameis Winston era threads. Their new look for 2020 — we’ll call it the Tom Brady era look — is a perfect return to the uniforms Tampa Bay had before the Winston era.
We’ve seen the previous look being tied to the Winston days here and across social media, but it’s never good when the national media has tied your name to some bad years especially if you had a part in the “bad.”
Good thing is we can officially move forward and put all that to rest. Hopefully.
