CNBC has reported that not only are we getting Tiger Woods vs. Phil Mickelson part two, but we will see them team up with two of the biggest stars outside of their own sport - Peyton Manning and Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady.
The first showdown between Woods and Mickelson was a huge hit, showing multiple bets between the two for charity on a hole-by-hole basis. In an effort to raise money for coronvavirus relief, Mickelson will team up with Brady while Manning will be on Team Woods.
Although there are still some details to be ironed out - and we all know nothing is official until it’s official - the match is tentatively set for May. And despite rumors that this would be another pay-per-view event, it appears as though WarnerMedia is working to have it broadcast live on one of its affiliates so that everyone has the opportunity to watch it.
The more eyes that can see the live sporting event the better as the entire idea is to raise money for relief efforts.
More details sure to come, but as it stands now it appears the Bucs’ new signal caller is lending his platform for a great cause.
