The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to get recognized nationally. The 2020 scheduled is filled with big games like the ones at home featuring the Chiefs, Chargers, and the Packers. But thanks to the recent acquisition of quarterback Tom Brady, early spreads out of Vegas have the Bucs favored in many games.
In fact, nearly all their games.
Courtesy of Cool Media PR, Vegas oddmakers have the Bucs listed as favorites in 13 of their games for this upcoming regular season. The three games where they are not favored are both games against the Saints and the game in Chicago against the Bears is listed as a pick ‘em. Largest point spread comes against the Panthers at home at 9.5.
For comparison, Vegas had the Bucs as a six to seven win team based on early spreads last season and the previous season projected to have five wins, also based on early offseason spreads.
What a time to be alive.
However, it’s not just Vegas predicting a successful season for Tampa Bay. Media outlets like NBC Sports ran through the Bucs schedule recently and predicted a 12-4 finish in 2020 with losses to the Falcons, Saints, Packers, and Chiefs.
The Tom Brady effect is very real, folks.
