Not much has come out from Buccaneers headquarters regarding the quarterback position and the direction the team will go. However, there is a player at least that was asked about it.
Running back Ronald Jones II appeared on Sirius XM and was asked about the potential of veteran Tom Brady playing in Tampa Bay.
Oh, you know, that would be something. Tom Brady, obviously, the greatest quarterback, one of the greatest to ever play. To learn from him, to be around him, to watch him, would be something special. Year 21, it can’t get better than that.
Jones was also asked about Jameis Winston. Jones referred to Winston as being “the guy” and feels another year under Bruce Arians would benefit both he and Winston. The quote in its entirety can be found on Joe Bucs Fan.
Still feels like we are a ways away from any decision. So for now, we’ll just have to entertain ourselves with reports and player quotes.
