We know by now that the team will be unveiling their new look this April. But with their last social media posts confirming a change, there was still little known.
Until Owner/Co-Chairman Ed Glazer, that is.
Glazer released a statement about the change and what’s to come. And while there still wasn’t much shared, the ownership group acknowledged they took in the feedback from fans and will be treating everyone to the team’s new look at an event.
“We have heard the feedback from our fans loud and clear and have been working with the NFL and our league partners at Nike to usher in a new look as we enter this next decade of Buccaneers football,” Glazer said via Buccaneers.com. “We look forward to revealing more details in the near future about our official unveiling event which will take place later this spring.”
It’s unclear what said event will be, but it’s reassuring to know that the ownership group does in fact take in what the fans have to say.
Senior Writer Scott Smith of the team’s site ends the article by saying that the new uniform design will be “based on what Buccaneer fans want to see.”
