The newest fan-made uniform mockup is one of the best designs I’ve seen

Last week, the Buccaneers released a video teasing the possibility of new uniforms in 2020. Naturally, Bucs Twitter lost its collective mind. That was in large part due to the masterpiece that was the video itself, but also because fans have been clamoring for some sort of change over the last half decade.

Speculation has run rampant since. And with good reason. Everyone is coming up with their own theories, designs, etc. in hopes of being the one who has the right to say “I told you so!” at the end of the day.

Well I just so happened to be perusing through Reddit the other morning and came across a design that is the best I’ve seen to date:

I won’t lie: This is pretty slick.

Now, don’t get me wrong, the Bucs shouldn’t abandon the pewter and red. Those are the hallmark colors of the franchise, however, this design would be awesome as an alternate.

And I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the NFL only allows for one helmet to be worn for the duration of a season. Teams are not allowed to have more than one different colored helmet. So, if the Bucs wanted to use this look, it would have to be a full-time look.

Regardless, it’s still fun to imagine the Bucs flying up to Green Bay in these colors or something like that.
