Players sometimes change agents when they are approaching their next contract. Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin is no different.
According to Greg Auman of The Athletic, Godwin has hired big time sports agency CAA.
With the possibility of a major extension ahead, Bucs receiver Chris Godwin has changed agents. Was with Eugene Lee since before draft, now with CAA and Tory Dandy. Godwin is an unrestricted free agent in 2021, eligible for an extension now. Made his first Pro Bowl in 2019.

The agency represents players like Aaron Donald, Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, and Matthew Stafford.
Godwin undoubtedly deserves a nice chunk of change. The Buccaneers will be smart to enter negotiations now if they haven’t already and get the Penn State product under contract for the future.
