The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-5) were under a lot of criticism for a recent slew of slow starts, but Tom Brady and co. were able to overcome that in Saturday’s 47-7 win over the Detroit Lions (5-10).
Brady threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns in the first half as the Bucs set a new franchise record for the most points scored in the first half and for the biggest first half lead. The Bucs were up, 34-0, before the Lions could blink.
Blaine Gabbert came in for Brady after halftime and still found a way to throw for over 140 yards and two touchdowns. Yep, it was that kind of day for Detroit, who lost Matthew Stafford to injury in the first quarter.
Join Jason and myself as we recap the good and the bad from Saturday’s win. We also preview which game(s) Bucs fan need to pay attention to on Sunday.
