A lot of excitement has centered around the arrival of head coach Bruce Arians to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and there hasn’t been a dull moment since.
When Arians came to Florida so did the Arians Family Foundation. For those who don’t know, the foundation is how the head coach and his family extend their good fortune and notoriety to those in need by, “Supporting and developing programs that strive to prevent the abuse and neglect of children.”

As much as coach Arians has passion for football, family has always been an important aspect of life, and his approach to ensuring those under his watch are focused on family is well known.
Side by side, Bruce and Christine Arians have been a team since they met nearly 51-years ago. There are plenty of love stories, but this one is as good as any of them. Better even, because it involves football.
While B.A.’s professional life - and the Arians family location - revolved around football, Christine was a powerhouse all her own. Not only is Christine an attorney, but her work which began with the Guardian Ad Litem Program in Indianapolis has helped reach and improve the lives of countless children in need of safe shelter and caring mentors.
In an interview with FOX13 last October, Christine Arians said of the mission,
“I can’t hear of a child with needs and not want to help. It doesn’t matter that it’s not my child or I don’t even know the child, you know? I just, I have to help. I think all of us, when you reach down inside, that’s how you have to feel.”
And help she has, as has the entire Arians family. On Tuesday, foundation President Jake Arians announced via Twitter a new partnership which allows fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to get involved with the cause, while having a little fun along the way.
“I’m very excited for our foundation to announce this new way to play and compete with this platform from Rivals Media,” said Arians, adding some simple instructions for interested fans. “Play, win and help change a kid’s life.”

This isn’t the first, and surely won’t be the last chance for Bucs fans to chip in to the foundation’s mission.
Earlier this month Voices for Children, a Tampa non-profit aimed at helping abused, abandoned, and neglected children, received a $25,000 grant from State Farm. They were awarded the grant by earning votes, some of which surely came from Buccaneers fans as the foundation and Christine herself were instrumental in sharing the foundation’s opportunity on social media.
To participate in this latest opportunity and to have some Tampa Bay Buccaneers fun while you’re at it, just head to the game page using this link or through the tweet near the top of this posting.
