Fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been able to call Tom Brady their quarterback for nine games thus far. Unfortunately, the last two outings have been less than stellar primetime performances leading to some having understandable angst about the next late night appearance for their team.
Fortunately, Bucs fans get a 1PM ET start for the Week 10 game against the Carolina Panthers. Sunday also presents a chance for fans of Brady to see their quarterback in the late evening without a chance of Tampa Bay gaining a loss - or ugly win - in the standings.
On November 15th at 10PM ET, Brady will appear on Fox News Channel’s “Talking to GOATs with Jim Gray”. According to a press release,
“Long time sportscaster and FNC contributor Jim Gray sat down with iconic athletes, including Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback Tom Brady, NBA Hall of Famer Julius Erving and former baseball star Pete Rose, for a series of wide-ranging interviews focused on what it means to be the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT).”

During the special Brady talks about two quarterbacks he idolized as a young aspiring football player on the west coast, saying,
“So for me, growing up in the Bay Area and I obviously thought Joe Montana was. He was the guy that I came and fell in love with football and it was Joe Montana. And then really at an impactful time of my life with football, Steve Young came onto the scene and those two were my football idols.”
Brady also references other great athletes like Jerry Rice, Barry Bonds, and of course, Michael Jordan.
Meanwhile, NBA Hall of Famer Julius Erving reminisces about NBA players such as Jerry West, Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlin, and others. Major League Baseball is represented by Pete Rose who’s name has once again surfaced in an attempt by some to reignite efforts to get the all-time great reinstated and eligible for the Hall of Fame.
In his own portion of the special, Rose talks about other great players like Johnny Bench and Mike Schmidt.
It may not be gridiron action, but for fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or for New England Patriots fans still following their favorite quarterback, it’s one more chance than usual to get some Tom Brady in their lives.
Catch all the interviews and insight into what it means to be one of professional sports’ Greatest Of All Time, on “Talking to GOATs with Jim Gray” this Sunday night at 10PM ET on the Fox News Channel.
