Godwin, Watson, McCoy all out for Bucs on Thursday night

NFL: Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Wide receivers Chris Godwin and Justin Watson as well as running back LeSean McCoy are all officially out for the Buccaneers’ week five match-up with the Chicago Bears on Thursday night.

We knew Godwin was a long shot after suffering a hamstring injury in week three but Justin Watson not being available certainly hurts an already reeling wide receiver corps.

It’s worth noting that not only is LeSean McCoy out but fellow running back Leonard Fournette is listed as doubtful leaving the bulk of the work for Ronald Jones and rookie Ke’Shawn Vaughn - especially after running back Kenjon Barner was suspended four games for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

Some reprieve is that receiver Scotty Miller was upgraded to a limited participant on Wednesday and Mike Evans is also likely to play despite being listed as questionable and missing practice all week.

For the Bears, they will be without safety Deon Bush and fellow safety Sherrick McManis is listed as doubtful.

Here is the full injury report for each team heading into tomorrow night’s game;
