Following their win against the Green Bay Packers Sunday, the Buccaneers make a trade to fill the void left behind due to Vita Vea’s injury.
According to multiple reports, the Jets agree to send nose tackle Steve McLendon and a 2023 seventh round pick to Tampa Bay in exchange for their 2022 sixth round pick. Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times first reported the move.

The addition of Mclendon will add depth to the Bucs defensive line and bring in a player who is familiar with Todd Bowles’ defense.
The now-former Jets captain and leader played in 20-plus snaps in Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.
