After an extremely sluggish start, the Buccaneers found themselves controlling the game as the second quarter began.
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense started the game keeping the Bucs defense off balance. But Tampa Bay’s defense tightened up and forced two interceptions off of Rodgers and have flustered the veteran quarterback throughout the second quarter. One of those interceptions were a pick-six by cornerback Jamel Dean.
The Bucs offense capitalized on the defense’s success in the first half as Tom Brady with tight end Rob Gronkowski and rookie wide receiver Tyler Johnson for touchdowns. On the ground, Ronald Jones II has rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown.
Bucs lead the Packers 28-10 as they head into the locker room.
Tampa Bay is set to receive the ball to start the second half. Enjoy the rest of the game and each other’s company in the comments for Bucs Nation’s second half open thread.
