On Thursday, Buccaneers’ Mike Evans and NFL players from around the league will team up with some of the world’s best Fortnite players for the ultimate Twitch Rivals Streamer Bowl, a live streamed video game tournament where teams will compete in the massively popular online game, Fortnite, for the chance at a $500,000 prize for the charity of their choice.
Taking place just ahead of the Super Bowl, The Streamer Bowl is presented by Twitch, the world’s leading live streaming platform and community, where over 1.3 million people tune in at any given time to chat, interact, and create entertainment together, in partnership with the NFL Players Association (NFLPA).

Evans is no stranger to charitable work. His charity, the Mike Evans Family Foundation, was formed to support educational development and assist students from low-income families. The foundation also supports women and families affected by domestic violence.
The veteran receiver’s work in the community earned him a nomination for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award. An award that recognizes an NFL player for outstanding community service activities off the field, as well as excellence on the field.
