Devin White questionable for Sunday’s game

The Buccaneers have announced this morning that rookie linebacker Devin White is questionable for Sunday’s opener against the San Francisco 49ers due to an illness.

Earlier this week, wide receiver Mike Evans also came down with an illness that forced him to miss Friday’s practice.

“Hopefully it doesn’t hit anybody more Saturday,” head coach Bruce Arians said on Friday. “There’s always a concern when this stuff starts running through, but it hasn’t hit the locker room yet. I think it’s just coming from outside.”

Well it appears to have hit the locker room and White is just the latest to get whatever it is that’s going around.

We’ll monitor this closely and see what his status will change to once the Bucs announce who is officially out before kickoff.
