JPP back on the sidelines at Buccaneers practice

Defensive end is still a ways away from returning

After being absent for all of training camp due to a neck injury sustained in an off-season car crash, Jason Pierre-Paul has made his return to the sidelines of Buccaneers practice.

JPP was also spotted at Raymond James stadium on Friday night for the game against the Browns, but either way his return to the practice field sideline is another step in the right direction.

It's also a promising sign that JPP is no longer sporting the neck brace he's worn for the last several months. Seeing him without the stabilizing brace brings some optimism that the injury is well on its way to healing, allowing Pierre-Paul to get that much closer to returning to the field.

Don’t anticipate a return within a few weeks. JPP is still a long way off from returning as he and the Buccaneers target a mid-season return.
