The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the team has signed defensive lineman Elijah Qualls.
Qualls (6-1, 321) originally entered the league as a sixth-round selection (214th overall) by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2017 NFL Draft. That season Qualls played six games with the Eagles and was a member of their Super Bowl LII-winning team. In 2018, he was signed to the Carolina Panthers practice squad prior to spending time with the Panthers and the Baltimore Ravens this past offseason. The Petaluma, California native and Washington product will wear No. 70 for Tampa Bay.
The team also announced that defensive lineman Shane Bowman has been waived (injured). Tampa Bay’s roster stands at 90.
