SB Nation’s FanPulse is officially underway for the 2019 season. Last season showed the up and down feelings Buccaneers fans had towards the team after starting out strong then taking everyone through a dive into the loss column.
So far, after just one preseason game, Bucs fans are feeling pretty good about the team.

In the graph above, you can see how there was not much confidence following the team’s 2018 campaign at 33-percent. After flirting with the 50-percent mark throughout the offseason, the fan base is currently sitting at a 73-percent confidence rating after one week of preseason.
While that may seem high for some, it may be a “cautiously optimistic” approach. In comparing to the rest of the NFC South, the Saints and Panthers fans have a 93-percent confidence rating while the Falcons fan base sit at an 81-percent confidence rating.
