The selection of linebacker Devin White at number five was one that fans have been debating all off-season. I’ve maintained that it is absolutely the right direction to go - but I’m not getting into that now. If you want to know why, click here.
What I’m here to talk about is the fan reaction. As you would assume, things were divided. Here are some of the excited group;

There is no draft pick that is going to make the entire fan base happy. I know that, you know that. From a broad scope, this was the smartest pick for the Buccaneers right now. Above average starting defensive linemen or edge rushers can be had early tomorrow night. Not linebackers. That’s the bottom line.
And don’t worry - I’m taking note of all the haters now to remind them come September.
