For those who don’t believe the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be in the market for wide receiver talent in the near future, there’s evidence to the contrary.
Bucs Nation has confirmed wide receivers Parris Campbell, Mecole Hardman, and Deebo Samuel have or are scheduled to have formal meetings with the Buccaneers while in Indianapolis.
They’ve had some informal meetings with other receivers as well, but the formals all have one thing in common: Speed.

Of course, there are more formal interviews and even private workouts still to come, but if there’s an early sign of what the Buccaneers are targeting in a potential rookie receiver, it’s clear which attribute is catching their attention early on.
In a season full of misdirection and misinformation, this pattern speaks to what the team may be in search of if recent reports of the ongoing falling out between DeSean Jackson and the team are true.
Signs would point to the team looking at projected draft rounds from day two or day three to take a wide receiver.
