Open thread for Week 17: Buccaneers vs. Falcons

The season finale is upon us. The Buccaneers will host the Falcons at Raymond James Stadium. Many will be trying to make one last push to prove they belong with their respective teams, while some others are just trying to prove they belong in the league period.

For Tampa Bay, lots of debate surrounding quarterback Jameis Winston and if he is truly deserving of another contract with the Buccaneers. However, he will have be under center for a second straight week without his top two receivers in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin and no running game. How will he end 2019?

Defensively, the young secondary has been extremely impressive since the release of Vernon Hargreaves III. Carlton Davis and Jamel Dean have made the coaching staff look brilliant as they have held opposing receivers in check. Sunday will be another interesting test for them yet again.
