In some expected yet unfortunate news, the Buccaneers will reportedly lose veteran wide receiver Mike Evans for the rest of the 2019 season.
This news comes courtesy of ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Bucs WR Mike Evans (hamstring) expected to miss the rest of the season, per source. Barring unexpected improvement on hamstring, Tampa Bay will be without its top receiver.

Evans injured his hamstring after a touchdown catch and run against the Indianapolis Colts this past week. These types of injuries can be tricky, so its perhaps for the best that Evans just lets the injury heal for 2020. Bucs Nation’s James Yarcho suspected this would be the case during his Pick Six post Monday.
Evans has caught 67 passes for 1,157 yards and 8 touchdowns this season.
