On Monday, the next new league launched what they hope will be the next big thing in fan to league interaction.
With the NFL seemingly ignoring the uncountable number of frustrated and angry fans every week over things like officiating, the newest professional football league is taking steps to remedy the same problem before they even step onto the field.
The Football Advisory Network, or F.A.N. (because it’s clever and it works), is the XFL’s digital community which the league plans to use for sharing ideas and feedback as to what’s going on with the league from the fan’s perspective.
It’s literally a direct path from couch or stands to league offices. What a novel idea!
Through a media release, XFL President and COO stated,
“The XFL is a league that listens, and the Football Advisory Network is an important platform that enables our direct connection to fans who share our love of football. This national panel will help us listen and learn from football fans in each of our eight markets and across the country.”
According to the F.A.N. website, will also have access to, “special content, giveaways, events and more.”
