The Panthers have quite the list of injured players heading into their second game of the season against the Buccaneers. Quarterback Cam Newton has already been ruled out, leaving Kyle Allen as the starter. With Allen under center, the Panthers haven’t lost since their week two match-up against the Buccaneers.
For the Bucs, they are scrambling to fix the right side of their offensive line. Tackle Demar Dotson is out with a hamstring injury while guard Alex Cappa played most of last week’s game with a broken arm and he will miss an estimated two-to-four weeks as he recovers.
Wide receiver Breshad Perriman was out again as he still deals with a hamstring injury and Ndamukong Suh was held out with a knee injury.
For the Panthers, they had ten players held out of practice including former Buccaneer Gerald McCoy (knee) as well as Christian McCaffrey (back), Shaq Thompson (ankle), Trai Turner (ankle), and Eric Reid (ankle).
