The Buccaneers return from their bye week this Sunday in Tennessee, taking on the Titans in what is essentially a must-win game if they want a shot at salvaging their season. Tampa Bay, at 2-4, is heading into what should be a winnable game against 3-4 Tennessee, but there are a lot of questions that Bruce Arians’ team needs to answer over the course of 60 minutes.

The final score is ultimately what matters, but there are some individual achievements on the line Sunday at Nissan Stadium. There are a couple players on the Bucs’ roster who have a chance to break franchise records and some others who can move their names up in the franchise’s record book. Let’s see where things stand heading into Week 8.

Career Pass Attempts

With 2,142 career pass attempts, Jameis Winston has the second-most in franchise history. He needs 19 against the Titans to take the top spot from Vinny Testaverde (2,160).

Career Rushing Touchdowns

Peyton Barber is up to 12 career rushing touchdowns, putting him at 13th all-time. With two more, he passes LeGarrette Blount and Doug Williams (13) for 11th.

Winston has nine rushing touchdowns in his career, leaving him five away from passing Williams for the most by a Buccaneer quarterback.

Career Receptions

With 422 career receptions, Mike Evans is just nine away from owning the franchise record, which is currently held by James Wilder (430). Could this be the week?

Career Receiving Touchdowns

With his touchdown catch in London, Cameron Brate now has 25 in his career. He passed Dave Moore and tied Mike Williams for sixth-most all-time. With one more, he takes sole possession of sixth.

Career Solo Tackles

Lavonte David has 667 career solo tackles, meaning he needs just 14 more to pass Hardy Nickerson (680) for third in Bucs history.

Career Sacks

With 21.5 sacks in his decorated career, David has the 15th-most in team history. With one more, he passes John Cannon (22) for 14th. With two more, he passes Santana Dotson and Lee Roy Selmon (23)* for 12th.

*Note: Sacks did not become an official statistic until 1982.

Single-Season Sacks

Shaquil Barrett has been held without a sack in back-to-back games, but he’s still on pace to break Warren Sapp’s single-season record of 16.5, which was set in 2000. Barrett has nine, so there’s certainly work to do.

Career Passes Defended

David has 40 passes defended. With one more, he ties Brent Grimes (41) for seventh, and two more ties him with John Lynch (42)* for sixth.

*Note: Passes defended did not become an official statistic until 1999.

Career Interceptions

David has 11 interceptions, which leaves him one away from tying Dwight Smith, Mark Robinson and Jeris White (12) for 12th-most in franchise history.

Career Forced Fumbles

With 18 forced fumbles, David ranks third all-time. He ties Simeon Rice (19) for second with one more.

Career Games Played

Demar Dotson is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. But if he plays, it will be his 121st game as a Buc, which would tie him for 15th-most with Lee Roy Selmon, Jimmie Giles and Chidi Ahanotu.

David is set to play in his 112th career game on Sunday, which will tie him for 24th-most with Donald Penn.
