After suffering a serious neck injury from a car accident during the offseason, Jason Pierre-Paul began his 21-day practice window earlier this week.
The Buccaneers are hopeful for his return soon, and as The Athletic’s Greg Auman points out the goal is for him to play against Tennessee next week. Auman also shared the veteran’s Instagram post which featured a picture from the practice fields of Tampa Bay’s training facility.

It seemed long a long shot at first that the Bucs’ 2018 sack leader would return to football activities this season. While he has healed quickly from the initial diagnosis, here’s hoping both sides aren’t rushing him back.
But if he is in fact 100-percent, the Tampa Bay defense will certainly be glad to have him on the field.
