The Buccaneers coaching search is moving right along and the team may be on candidate closer to making a hire.
NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that former Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians is the leading candidate for the team’s head coaching position. Rapoport also confirmed what Bucs Nation learned about a week ago that Tampa Bay would not have to give up compensation for hiring Arians.
If the #Bucs hire Bruce Arians as their head coach — and he is the front-runner — they are not required to provide compensation to the #AZCardinals, sources say. Arians did retire in AZ, but his 2019 team option was declined. Tampa Bay can proceed without any obstacles.

Bucs Nation learned Friday that the wheels are spinning fast with Arians. Joe Bucs Fan reports an announcement may come as soon as Tuesday, and that the 66-year-old former Cardinals head coach may be named the Buccaneers’ next head coach.
