It is no secret that many of Bruce Arians former players have great respect for the 66 year old. You don’t gain respect by going through the motions, but by putting together a plan and having that plan show results.
Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and current Arizona Cardinal, D.J. Swearinger, who is not afraid to speak his mind, opened up during a radio interview on 106.7 FM about the differences between his time in Washington and when he played for Arians in Arizona.
“I know the formula that Bruce Arians had, and it was a successful formula, we practiced 10 times harder than we did in Washington.”
We have heard from Arians himself that everyday is going to be a grind and guys who normally don’t get as many reps, will be getting the same amount as first team players with two fields going simultaneously at practice.
This should excite the heck out of Buccaneers fans, because Swearinger is a guy who speaks his mind and doesn’t hold back and for him to remember how well the practices were run speaks volumes.
Some current Buccaneer players will be in for a rude awakening come training camp time, but it’s going to be all worth it in the end. Arians will have everyones respect in that locker room by week 1.
I can guarantee that.
