Every Friday evening, we will take a look at the all time series between the Buccaneers and whatever team they face that given week. This week, the team heads a little northwest, and will take a trip to the Mercedes Benz Superdome.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints are set to face off in week one. The two NFC South rivals are very familiar with each other, being that they square off twice a year. The two matchups this season will be week one and then again in week 14.
The all-time record between the two teams is in favor of the Saints. They have played a total of 52 times, with New Orleans winning 32 of those matchups. With that being said, over the last three seasons, the season series has been split and most of the games have been one score affairs.
It’ll be a fun one on Sunday as the Buccaneers not only try and make a statement, but also try and draw closer in the all-time series.
Each individual score and match up can be found here.
