Tampa Bay claims DL Carl Nassib off waivers from Browns

Nassib provides added depth on an injured defensive line.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers claimed Carl Nassib, previously of the Browns, off of waivers today. Nassib, will provide added depth on the defensive line while Vita Vea and Mitch Unrein get back to full strength.

In his two seasons with the Browns, Nassib recorded 5.5 sacks. The former third round pick will look to start fresh in Tampa Bay.

To make room for Nassib, the Bucs waived DE Will Clarke.
