After the Buccaneers officially cut players to reach the 53-man roster, the team now looks to add player via waiver cuts to add to their practice squad. Sunday will be a day for the team snag those players that other teams felt would not be worth a spot on their final roster.
Tampa Bay doesn’t necessarily have to place a player on the practice squad. The player they pick up can be placed on the final roster, but they’d have to move around some pieces.
Some notable names include Dallas kicker Dan Bailey who was surprisingly released on Saturday (but his accuracy has gone down since 2015), Atlanta safety Ron Parker — who they signed this past offseason and has nine INTs over the last five seasons, and Oakland’s oft injured former second-round pick defensive end Mario Edwards.
We’ll have the latest on any possible additions here.
I have 10 of the 11 on Bucs’ practice squad:

RB Dare Ogunbowale
WR Bobo Wilson
TE Tanner Hudson
OL Cole Boozer
DE Pat O’Connor
DE Demone Harris
DL Jeremiah Ledbetter
LB Eric Nzeocha
CB Javien Elliott
S Godwin Igwebuike
Bucs will carry an 11th practice squad player again this year in LB Eric Nzeocha, who started in Thursday’s preseason finale. Gets an international exemption.

Bucs have signed former Northwestern safety Godwin Igwebuike back to their practice squad. Got $105,000 guaranteed to sign after draft so not surprising. His father is cousin of former Bucs kicker Donald Igwebuike.

New addition to Bucs practice squad: former Arkansas and Lions DL Jeremiah Ledbetter. Paid a higher salary to steal him from Lions ... https://t.co/U4KkrdgxdT

Bucs are bringing back CB Javien Elliott to their practice squad. Former walk-on at FSU continues his story in third year with Tampa Bay.

Bucs have brought back undrafted rookie defensive end Demone Harris to the practice squad. Good news for former walk-on at Buffalo.

Bucs have brought back undrafted rookie tight end Tanner Hudson to their practice squad. Converted QB made some highlight-reel catches in training camp.

Bucs are not bringing back long-snapper Drew Ferris, who had been the only snapper on roster until last week. They’ll add a snapper today.

Does not appear that Bucs made any waiver claims, nor were any of their cuts Saturday claimed elsewhere. Good news for being able to fully stock the practice squad.

Defensive end Patrick O'Connor is expected to sign to the Bucs' practice squad. He was active in three games for them last year. Also, expect linebacker Nigel Harris to sign if he goes unclaimed.

As expected, wide receiver Bobo Wilson will be signing with the Bucs' practice squad. They've been really happy with the progress he's made.

Former Wisconsin and Redskins RB Dare Ogunbowale will sign back with Bucs’ practice squad today unless he’s claimed off waivers by another team. Impressed after joining team a week into training camp.

Offensive tackle Cole Boozer, an undrafted rookie from Temple cut by the Bucs on Saturday, will sign back with Tampa Bay’s practice squad today after clearing waivers.
