Tampa Bay and Philadelphia have released their final injury reports prior Sunday afternoon’s game. Both teams will be missing key players.
The Buccaneers will still be without starting cornerback Brent Grimes. That means Tampa will be missing both of its starters on the outside after Vernon Hargreaves suffered a season-ending injury against New Orleans.
Defensive tackle Vita Vea remains out after suffering a calf injury during training camp. There are major question marks about when he’ll be able to return and boost the Bucs defensive line. Jason Pierre-Paul is dealing with a knee injury that has him questionable for the matchup with the Eagles. His loss would be a big blow to an already short-handed defense.
However, there is some good news for Tampa Bay. DeSean Jackson was a full participant on Friday and barring any setbacks, he’s likely good to go for Sunday despite being listed as questionable.
As for Philadelphia, they’ve ruled out Alshon Jeffery and Carson Wentz as expected, but there was a surprise that started building on Thursday. Running back Darren Sproles reportedly did not practice yesterday or today and he’s been ruled out of the game.
